TRIM MOTOR - 300-03761 a toggle button on the control lever or on the dash controls the Trim. Hydraulic rams are used in the trim system to modify the angle of the outboard motor or sterndrive gearcase, and hence the angle of the propeller shaft relative to the boat transom, over a 20-degree range.

Positive trim, or tilting the engine too far out or up, causes the bow of the boat to raise. Outboard and sterndrives have a power trim adjustment that allows boat owners to tilt the drives' angle out or in, giving you the ability to alter and maintain the proper angle.
