The Trimmer, Volvo Penta (3812911) is a trim leveler present in the boat on its motor with outboard engines or Z-drive propulsion. It permits the boat's trim to be adjusted, increasing or decreasing the wet area on the hull. When you set to the speed and state of the sea, you gain in performance of comfort. For boats with outboard motors (beginning at 25cv), as well as Z-Drive propulsion requires a trimmer. In actuality, too few recreational boaters use it, resulting in reduced comfort and performance as well as increased fuel consumption.
