back Steering & Controls
It's time to get back to the dock. When you let go of the throttle, your engine revs up to full speed, yet your boat does not move. Or it travels very slowly at times, almost as if the motor had no propeller. You turn off the engine and raise the drive to see if the prop is still in place. So, what is the situation? You may have a "spinning" propeller hub. In other words, the engine no longer turns the propeller because the corner has failed. An XHS II V4/V6 Delrin High HP Hub (991372) kit is required to get back on track. Although the propeller hub protects the lower-unit gears from impact, it can wear out due to age, heat, or accident. A hub kit should always be well-maintained on hand.
