To land in ports and at sea, ships must be able to maneuver. They need anchoring for this. The entire vessel is held in place by the anchor head, a weight that produces the opposing forces. Have you ever wondered how a large object might be raised from the ground or the ocean floor? A windlass is a tool used to move heavy weights using a pulley system. A crankshaft or belt rotates a barrel with a chain or cable wrapped around it. The crank can be powered mechanically or manually and is coupled to the barrel so that it can rotate about a central axis.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
