The Windlass Vert 1000W 12V S/C by Recmar (QUDP31012) is a durable, high-speed stainless steel anchor windlass for use in harsh marine environments. With specially constructed permanent magnet motors, these H series vertical windlasses provide more lifting force than any other windlass of this size on the market. The gearbox motor, which has a vertical shaft construction and is housed below the deck, allows for quiet operation. The deck gypsy is made of 316 stainless steel and has a mirror-polished finish, giving us years of trouble-free use. The H-series windlass is made to work with either rope or chain alone. Up to 38 meters per minute can be dropped. For quick and simple attachment to your boat, each windlass comes with the following components: Gypsy parts, Gearbox/Motor, Solenoid, Handle, Switch Panel, Foot Switch, and Installation Guide. The ideal thickness for mounting decks is 20mm-35mm.
