A wire harness is a designed bundling device used to manage several wires or cables. Wires are trimmed to length, bundled, then fastened to terminal or connector housings to form a unified component, rather than manually routing and attaching each strand. Wire harnesses are made of hundreds of individually over-molded wires that branch out in different directions and link at various points. Low-quality wire harnesses, due to their usually complex design, can have a number of difficulties.
