ZINC ANODE KIT DPH - 3588746 the highly negative reduction potential of a zinc anode even lower than the metal it shields is what gives it its protective properties. It helps avoid corrosion because metal-corroding oxidants will oxidize the zinc anode rather than the insulated metal framework. For protection against electrolytic corrosion, this anode can be mounted on the engine shield. It works with the Volvo Penta stern drives DPH-A, DPH-B, DPH-C, and DPH-D.
