The 1/2" BRASS SHAFT KEY (1/2" BRASS KEY) square keys are small, uniformly-sized bars that limit the relative rotation of a shaft and a hub. They can be any length but must have the same height and breadth. The design complies with strict regulatory requirements to guarantee driver safety in the case of an accident. In ordinary industrial machinery, square keys are used. A machine component called a 1/2" BRASS SHAFT KEY or 1/2" BRASS KEY secures industrial parts. It is employed to maintain the position of pulleys and gears on power transmission shafts. The zinc plating provides a modest level of corrosion protection.
