They are of superior vinyl insulation that can withstand 600 volts, 105 degrees Celsius dry and 75 degrees Celsius wet, and is resistant to salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion, and ultraviolet radiation. The finest quality ultra flexible (Type 3) tinned copper stranding offers the best corrosion and electrolysis resistance while also resisting fatigue from vibration and flexing.
