Aluminum propellers allow boats to build speed significantly faster than wooden propellers because of the lower spinning mass. It translates to faster climb rates and shorter takeoffs. The lightweight propeller in a boat follows the same principles. It takes the form of a higher-quality, higher-performing propeller that costs less than the engine manufacturer's propeller you're replacing. Every Michigan Match® propeller has an aluminum spindle with rubber cushioned hub that reduces shock and gear shifting stress. Under severe impact, the rubber bushing is created to spin free, lowering the risk of unit damage. The primary propeller is fantastic.
