It keeps the engine from clogging and becoming damaged by minimizing friction between parts and cleaning the entire boat's engine.Mechanical components last longer and are less likely to rust. As a result, the engine works more efficiently and lasts longer.Fuel combustion produces corrosive acid, which can harm engine metal parts. Corrosion is slowed by the chemicals added to modern engine oils. The residue would clog the boat's engine and reduce its performance if it weren't for the motor oil.
