The Butt connector is a replacement for use with a 16-14 wire gauge. It ensures an electrical current can pass safely from one wire to other as connected to the end configuration. The butt connector terminates wires safely and is used to make quick splices or connections with two or more pieces of wire. It will be crimped or soldered to be transferred at acceptable conductivity and pullout resistance performance levels. Built from the vinyl-plastic wire termination device with a sharp metal insert, it safely cuts through the plastic insulating jackets of two wires and crimps them together. There are different colors of butt connectors based on the correct color and size of the wire gauge.
