It is made of materials that can withstand stress, and these belts are subjected to high speeds and varying pressures. The 1X132 120 GRIT BELT (10/Pack) (312120-1-PK) is made of aluminum oxide and works well on contoured workpieces. This grit belt is as firm as a standard X-weight backing, but less flexible than a J-weight backing. It is made of semi-open coated material that is resin bonded with a special red-colored top coating to aid in cooling and resistance to loading.
