Universal cables are intended to fit aftermarket engine controls as well as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) units from BMW®, Chrysler®, Honda®, Nissan®, Suzuki®, Volvo®, Yamaha®, and others. Premium cables have a thick jacket, and the TFXTREME® splined, coated core element for maximum smoothness and minimal lost motion. Standard cables use stainless steel LubriCoreTM core wire for smooth operation and long life (4" minimum bend radius) (8" minimum bend radius).

The stiffness of the core wire and how tightly it fits in the casing determine the stiffness of traditional cables. Thus, the classic trade-offs in control cable design: a stiffer core/tighter fit offers less lost motion but is more difficult to move. Cable movement becomes increasingly difficult as the run lengthens and becomes more complex.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
