Hose clamps can be embossed or have a perforated band with the thread stamped out. The latter is preferable because it is produced directly on the clamp band without holes. Avoid using hose clamps with perforated bands because the holes weaken the clamp and provide a breeding ground for corrosion, both of which may be prevented by utilizing embossed bands. Hose clamps used on a marine vessel should be high-grade stainless steel to avoid corrosion. They're right there in the boat's bottom, and you don't even notice them. However, the hose clamp may be all that keeps your boat afloat.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
