The marine engine starter motor is an integral part of every boat. While the components are comparable to those found in automobiles and trucks, they are not interchangeable. Boat starters are different from vehicle starters in that they are secured against moisture, pollutants, and stray sparks, all of which can damage your boat. Gasses can gather in the bilge and trigger a dangerous explosion if a stray spark occurs. The Arco outboard starter is a self-starting mechanism that uses its power to start the engine. The motor is a feedback system that relies on inertia to start the next cycle. The starting motor is necessary to start the initial cycle. Arco marine uses only the highest-quality input components. Every item that ships out of their warehouse is thoroughly inspected before being boxed, resulting in some of the lowest failure rates in the marine engine parts business.
