This high-performance Shift Shaft Boot for Mercury/Mariner Outboard Motors is made from the most advanced materials. It secures the area in which the gear selection rod exits the transmission and bolts to the yoke that runs back to the shift lever. It is an important component that protects the axle joint (CV Joint) from dirt, water, and contaminants.
