Bushings may appear insignificant, but they play a critical role in driver comfort and the longevity of a vehicle's steering and suspension system. A bushing acts as a cushion between parts, limiting joint movement while reducing noise, vibration, and harshness. The bushing allows the steering shaft to rotate freely with little friction while maintaining a snug fit. It replaces missing or faulty hardware installed on a new unit with an identical replacement. It is made of high-quality steering bushing tough plastic. A Bushing, also known as a rack-and-pinion bushing, is a steel component that connects the steering.
