This Canvas Plier (990691) is ideal for sewing heavy-duty exterior coverings such as a boat cover, canvas canopy, tarp, or awning. Strong and powerful fastening pliers but surprisingly easy to use and lightweight tools made tough for fixing and fastening maritime quality snap rings (1.00lbs). While repairing or securing boat coverings, use metal snap pliers with a no-slip traction grip for safety and comfort. The vice grip method lets you gain good leverage to crimp the two sections together. The adjustable plier design allows for higher leverage than die-and-peg snap tools. You can now add snaps to items without having to remove them; select where you want to add a snap, cut pilot holes, then clamp it in place with the canvas (or whatever) still connected.
