The whole electrical system of your boat is power supplied by a strong source: a battery. The battery can intentionally and unavoidably push a massive amount of electrical current (amps). It enables the battery to do vital tasks like starting your engine and pumping a large amount of water out of your bilge.
CIRCUIT BREAKER CB43240 is an electromechanical device that safeguards electrical circuits from current overload or short circuits. When a fault in the flow is detected, it interrupts the high flow of electricity. When the surge of current trips, it automatically detects current flow opening the circuit if it exceeds the capacity of the wires. When it opens a circuit, it creates a break in a very high resistance air gap that prevents all electricity from flowing through that wire.
