Description

A rotor assembly includes several rotor blades positioned circumferentially around the hub. A die-cast rotor and a shaft comprise the rotor assembly. Both components can be fully machined and assembled, partially machined and connected, or a hybrid. The rotor is a moving part of an electromagnetic system used in an electric motor, generator, or alternator. The combination of the windings and magnetic fields generates torque around the rotor's axis, which causes it to rotate.
