The Drive Gear - ARCO Marine (DV381) is a high-quality 9-tooth drive gear for the Mercury Mariner outboard starter. This drive enables the pinion gear of the starter motor to engage or disengage the ring gear (which is connected to the flywheel or flexplate of the engine) instantly when the starter is powered.
