The DRIVE SHAFT PRELOAD TOOL (18-9874) is a high-quality drive shaft preload tool proven and tested to be of excellent performance. This tool preloads the drive shaft bearing when checking pinion height and backlash. The Sea Star Solutions preload tool includes everything you'll need. It includes a Top Nut with threaded pipe, Threaded rod, Nut, Screws, Spring, Washer, Thrust washer, Thrust bearing, and Water pump faceplate (from gear housing).
