The Engine Adapter Harness by CDI Electronics (423-6349) connects the electrical components throughout the vessel. It adapts 1996-2016 Johnson Evinrude Engines to 1976-1995 Controls with 18? long. The harness is constructed of heat-resistant material to protect against vibrations and abrasions. The engine adapter harness arranges the cables that pass through it into definite connectors to make it easier to plug the wires into the respective terminals. If the harness or connectors are damaged, the ignition system will not function properly.
