To withstand the wet and uncomfortable working environment, this Stator, Johnson/Evinrude, 4 Cylinder, 12 Amp, Pp4 from CDI Electronics (173-2099) is made of material that has undergone anti-corrosion treatment. We opened the sealed stator in order to increase cooling. The performance of pure copper wire is substantially superior, and the anti-aging components in the wire give it a very long lifespan. The products are simple to set up, install identically to the originals, and come with an operating manual.
