The tilt/trim motor (6238) from Evinrude, Johnson, and Gale Outboard Motors allows you to match the prop path with the water's flow by using the power trim. The trim tabs adjust the hull of the boat both up and down and side to side. You may improve your boat's performance by employing both of them, with each contributing to the trimming process.
