Within a given input voltage, the stabilizer's output voltage will remain in the range of 220V or 230V for single phase supplies and 380V or 400V for three-phase supplies. Internal circuitry performs buck and boosts operations to carry out this regulation. This type of gadget is always present in every motor of your boat to adjust the generator's output voltage to the electrical load and the battery's charging requirements. Voltage regulators are also present in electronic devices where excessive voltage changes might be harmful.
