A Volvo Penta is a fuel filter and water separator line that screens out contaminants and protects marine engines by filtering water, dust, dirt in the fuel supply, debris, and dust particles from the fuel. They are placed in most internal combustion engines to protect the critical part of the engine from foreign particles that can damage a fuel injector.
