An engine part called a valve cover gasket is made to keep oil in the engine and shield cylinder head hardware from the weather. As a two-way barrier, the gasket is often comprised of plastic, rubber, or cork to form a tight seal between the engine cover and engine. It is frequently made of plastic, rubber, or cork. A part of the motor is the gasket on the valve cover. The motor's intake and exhaust valves quickly open and close while running. This method produces a lot of mechanical motion. Hence hot oil spray is required to lubricate it. However, if the gasket is damaged, it won't be able to keep the oil and valve cover sealed, harming the engine.
