A gear mechanism's protective enclosure, or gearcase, can be found on machinery or in vehicles. It transfers engine torque and rotation to the prop shaft and propeller. As the bottom-most part of an outboard motor, the lower unit is in saltwater, which is corrosive. A seal kit is an assortment of seals that are the right size and caliber. The purchase of an oil seal kit is better and more economical than the purchase of individual seals. Quality components create the gearcase seal kit, ensuring maximum performance and dependability.
