A vehicle's or piece of machinery's gearcase is a protective casing for the gear system. It sends power and rotation from the engine to the prop shaft and propeller. The lower section of an outboard motor spends most of its time submerged in corrosive saltwater because it is the most exposed part of the motor. A seal kit is a collection of seals of the appropriate size and quality for the job. It is more advantageous and cost-effective to purchase an oil seal kit than individual seals. For maximum performance and dependability, the gearcase seal kit is made of high-quality material.
