Horseshoe lifebuoys utilized as man-overboard buoyancy aids onboard vessels. A floating object can be thrown at a person in the water to provide buoyancy and stop them from drowning. A horseshoe-shaped personal flotation device with a connecting rope allows the victim to be carried to the rescuer in a boat. The victim is protected from smashing waves by a bright color visible to the rescuer from a distance.
