IGNITION SWITCH - MP41070-2 controls the engine and starter motor. It is a priming circuit that assists the engine in starting. It is vital to start the engine to work and crank it over. It switches on every electric start on the outboard and opens and closes the starter solenoid. It also shuts the engine by grounding the CDI unit (power pack or switch box). This complete mechanism is in charge of starting your boat and also giving power to various parts of it, such as the electronic equipment, ignition, and engine.
