An impeller is a revolving iron or steel disc with vanes in a centrifugal pump. Impellers accelerate the fluid radially outwards from the center of rotation to transmit energy from the motor driving the pump. A clog-free, long-lasting, and energy-efficient solution is always the goal.
The centrifugal pump impeller is responsible for transferring fluid energy from the pump motor. It is composed of vanes that emerge from the eye, an open intake in the center, which spin and use centrifugal force to transfer the liquid from the casing to the discharge point. Since the impeller serves as the wastewater pumping mechanism, it is the "heart" of the pump. The composition of wastewater is particles or compounds that cause foam, among other things. The impeller needs a perfectly adapted to the specific application to produce the optimum pumping performance.
