The TPS Sensor kit provides information to the compushift system after detecting the degree of throttle input on a non-EFI engine. The TPS kit signals the fuel injection system on how much fuel to inject into the engine. It helps ensure that the correct mixture of air and fuel is delivered by the engine. With the TPS that works correctly, the car accelerates, cruises, or coasts smoothly and efficiently. The engine idles smoothly, too slowly, or stalls.
