The technologically innovative MERCRUISER THERMOSTAT (118-3555) uses bleed notches, check valves, and other features to remove air from the system. Use stainless steel pistons for a longer lifespan and more effective performance. For more effective operation, heat the brass guide and cover the motor piston. For added durability and strength, the spring frame is made of stainless steel and has channel construction. The engine can quickly reach its ideal operating temperature thanks to the stainless steel spring's precise working compression.
