Mercury TRIGGER 3 Cylinder. (134-9021-3) instructs the switch box when to "fire." Magnets pass close to the trigger coils on the inner ring of your flywheel. The trigger provides a low voltage "signal" to the (power pack or switch box) each time the magnet passes. Probably the most overlooked part of the ignition system but it plays a vital role in how your boat runs. It fits 1987-1999 (45 JET,50,60,65,70,75,80 & 90HP).
