The backing, however, is only one aspect of our tape design, which is designed with exceptional performance in auto body paint repair and maintenance in mind. With no bleed-through, edge curl, or lifting, the adhesive resists both water and chemicals, making it perfect for use with either water or solvent-based paints. The glue is held in place by a primer layer, which prevents it from transferring to the surface. Using the tape, you can save money on labor by removing it without slivering.
