The valve stem and guide's mating surface are sealed against air and liquid by O rings. O-rings are circular-looped gaskets that seal two operational surfaces. Oil cannot enter the combustion chamber because of this. Without this tiny and simple component, the oil may seep into the valve guide and burn inside the combustion chamber. To build a seal inside a tube or pipe, apply pressure. At the same time that it maintains its mechanical, flexible, and form properties, it offers good temperature resistance.
