OPTIMAX COIL (184-0004) works as a distributor this vital component transforms the electricity coming from the battery into the right voltage to create a spark at the plugs. This then ignites the fuel, which keeps your engine running. The wider gap enables the spark to jump a greater distance, resulting in a more robust and powerful initial combustion. As a result, engine torque increases. Compatible with DFI Outboard 1100,1350, & 1650 QC4V Race Sterndrives from 2005-UP (110 Jet, 135, 150, 175, 200, 225, & 250HP).
