The first method of stopping outboard motor theft is by locking outboard motors or engines to a boat's transom. These are for mounting an outboard motor utilizing the bracket that clamps the engine. Your outboard is priceless and exposed. Unless an insurance-approved lock secures an outboard motor, it is not insured. The PANTHER OUTBOARD MOTOR LOCK (75-8000) secures the outboard motor to the boat's transom. PANTHER OUTBOARD MOTOR LOCK (75-8000) locks are equivalent to our stern drive locks in terms of quality. Heavy strength steel tube creates the Panther Lock. The vinyl-clad steel tube effortlessly avoids motor lockdowns and is secured with a sturdy brass padlock. A recessed padlock makes cutting impossible. It comes with two keys.
