The Polyester Toggle Switch is an On/Off/On 3 terminal SPDT switch. It has a rate of 20 amps at 12 volts DC. It works to move it up and down those contacts, will then either turn on or off looks like this one has had some arcing going on inside, which might cause one of this oxidation and damage.
