This pump fits most Volvo Penta, MerCruiser, and OMC 4.3L V6, 5.0L V8, and 5.7L V8 engines. It replaces Part # 16792A39, 3863130, 3888323, 18-7508, 36368, and 90507A3. Some 7.4L variants will also fit the pump. The pump sends the fluid into the pressure tube, providing hydraulic pressure to assist the steering gear in effortlessly turning the wheels.
