In most pressure water systems, the PRESS ACCUMULATOR TANK 1 L (SFAT10012501) is a pump accessory that functions together with the pump to enhance performance and extend pump life. The reserve of pressured water is kept in the accumulator tank to reduce pump cycling, pulsation, and water hammer and provide a smoother, quieter water flow. The tank serves as a pressure buffer by minimizing changes in water pressure and flow between the pump and the water fixtures, allowing smoother water flow and reducing pump on/off cycling.
