PRESTOLITE V8 CLIPDOWN - 18-5277 the internal rotor of the distributor is covered by the distributor cap, which also contains the contacts between them and the spark plug wires. This contains a contact set, rotor, distributor cap, and condenser. This is a vital component replacement if the current parts are worn out.
In order to ignite the fuel-air combination inside the engine cylinders and generate power, distributor caps and rotors are in charge of transmitting the voltage from the ignition coils to the cylinders. This helps improve engine performance and contributes to boat efficiency.
