One of the most significant pieces of equipment on your boat that needs to be maintained is the propeller. It consists of an assembly that ensures the accuracy of the propeller rake angle, pitch, progression, pitch variation, and cup. The spacer is one of the assemblies in the prop that aids in positioning the propeller to the shaft when the inner hub cannot hold its shape. It inhibits the internal hub from sliding aft and reverse thrust stresses with its large surface. The PROP SPACER 18-4274 is a precision spacer manufactured for Yamaha outboard engines.
