The Yamaha Snap Clamp is a Mercury from BRP. These snapper hose clamps meet the needs of many hose and tubing applications in markets. It provides quick, ratchet closure for reduced application time and allows for application after the connection of the hose. The clamp locator ring prevents the clamp from vibrating over the hose surface. Its solid body design prevents hose extrusion, found with gear types clamps. The lock has a compression limit to hose damage due to excessive clamping. In that, the hose is clamped but not crushed. The tightening exerts equal pressure when tightened. It will not distort the hose.
