A SPARK PLUG BU8H (86-6431) Autowares is a device that fits into the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine that contains two electrodes separated by an air gap across which electricity from a high-tension ignition system discharges to create a spark to ignite the air-fuel mixture. It is constructed of firm materials and may endure millions of explosions before the replacement. However, it is true that over time, explosions and corrosion cause smaller or weaker sparks, resulting in decreased engine efficiency and the possibility of misfiring or failure to start.

The 98 percent pure copper core improves heat dissipation and reduces spark plug overheating for more reliable starts.
Ceramic insulator made of high-grade alumina silicate for better strength and heat transfer.
Threads are cold-rolled to prevent cross-threading and cylinder head damage.
