All of Champion's classic plugs include a zinc-plated casing that resists corrosion. When specified, resistor plugs utilize a special wire wound Q-type suppressor (CDI resistor) for high voltage applications. Maritime applications use a special wire wound Q-type suppressor (CDI resistor). Ground or center electrode with a copper core (when noted). All I.S.O. and S.A.E. criteria as declared by all manufacturers. TinTac and ULTRASEAL Shells are used in Champion copper plus spark plugs, which removes the need for anti-seize compound during installation by delivering the best corrosion protection of any spark plug in the industry. The copper core electrode in this Champion spark plug provides the best conductivity and heat regulation for improved overall wear.
