Understanding the jargon is essential when examining various spark plug kinds. Every spark plug has a top ceramic and metal terminal that attaches to a coil boot or a spark plug wire. The core of the plug is typically made of copper and features a center electrode. The remainder of the spark plug's body consists of a threaded component that screws into the engine's cylinder head and a side electrode. The "gap" formed between this side electrode and the center electrode is where the spark emerges. But different electrode materials are employed in plugs. Realize how important to use spark plugs according to the manufacturer's guidelines.
